The Careers in Medicine Enhancement Program (CMEP) is for students (sophomores, juniors, seniors, recent graduates, and post-baccalaureate students) at partner institutions. CMEP provides learning support for students interested in pursuing a career in medicine and/or healthcare through lecture series and learning opportunities with a focus on health equity. Program session topics: Health Equity, Doctoring and Caring for the Vulnerable, Advocacy in Medicine, Research Careers in Medicine, Interviewing Skills and Strategies, Writing our Personal Statements, and Presentations/Program Review. The program for the first Cohort met on Wednesday evenings (6:30-7:30pm) from 2/1/23 to 3/22/23. Participants also met with faculty mentors on additional dates.

Applications for the second cohort will be available in November 2022.
