Covid-19 STEM Community Education and Empowerment Internship Program

The Covid-19 Community Education Empowerment Program, a collaboration of New York City medical schools, will recruit underrepresented in medicine, first generation, and disadvantaged college and gap year students interested in medical and health careers to learn about Covid-19 and disparities, vaccine science, the roles of medicine and public health, and strategies for community education and empowerment. This is a virtual internship for STEM college students.

Program Details:

Cohort 1: 3/27/21, 4/10/21, 4/17/21, 4/24/21

Cohort 2: 5/1/21, 5/8/21, 5/15/21, 5/22/21

Cohort 3: 7/19 – 7/22 (M, T, W, TH); 7/26 – 7/29 (M, T, W, TH), 8/4 and 9/1 capstone project presentation

Cohort 4: 10/27 – 12/15 (W); 6:30-8:30PM; capstone presentation 1/5/22
